Unless the point is only to display text pages over the network (the

network already plenty of tools and protocols to do such things).

The point of Gemini is not to reduce the functionnality to a bare

minimum, it's to ensure a consistency in the way information should be

displayed.

But it does not remove the need for such protocol to build business

application for example. An accounting software could be using Gemini

for example.

We need the ability to receive and send information, build forms and

dynamic software to answer those forms.

That's bloat already, besides if it gets done, then what is the point? The web does that much better already.
