Published! Apple History and the Creation of the Macintosh

One of my favorite books is "Revolution in the Valley" by Andy Hertzfeld, from 2004. Organized as a chronological series of short stories, it tells the early history of Apple and the creation of the Macintosh. Andy was an early Apple employee who first collected and published these stories on Folklore.org before combining them into the book.
Unfortunately the Folklore site has some issues like broken links, missing and low-resolution images, typos, and poor formatting for reading on modern devices. Luckily Andy licensed all the content under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 1.0 License, so I scraped it all, cleaned it up, and am publishing all the content on my Capsule. The "series of short stories in chronological order" makes it perfect snack-able content for Gemini Space.
Some of my favorites stories:
I also used the Archive.org's Wayback Machine to find older, high resolution images:
You can start reading with the first post, and use the navigation links to read through all the stories
Enjoy!
P.S. If you'd like to remix the content, it's published as Markdown with front matter meta data, as well as all the high resolution images, as a Github repo:
