IT's Formula

In Stephen King's /=It =/there is a generally adhered to formula which dictates the ends of the characters within this monster narrative. The formula hinges on each character's faith in the reality--or lack thereof--of It, their involvement (perpetrator or victim) in the thematic cultural/societal monstrosities presented in /=It=/, and whether or not the character confronts It.
