Compile a DVI document from LaTeX source files.

• Compile a DVI document:

latex {source.tex}

• Compile a DVI document, specifying an output directory:

latex -output-directory={path/to/directory} {source.tex}

• Compile a DVI document, exiting on each error:

latex -halt-on-error {source.tex}
