Three Questions answered 💡
I thought should have a go at answering them.
What's a place you've been to that would amaze us if we visited?
I'd go to a beech wood that we went to sometimes when I was a child. The trunks are smooth, tall and straight, and it's like being in a cathedral. Around the edges, other shorter trees make walls. The floor is carpeted with last years papery leaves and the shells of beech nuts. I haven't been for years, but if I was given 24 hours to live I'd go there one last time.
You retreat to the wilderness to live with a small group of friends. What thing can you teach them?
I can do some practical stuff like light a fire, or even build a (rickety) shelter. I'll sort those out while the others find some food.
What was a lightbulb moment that you had?
I used to have impostor syndrome in my job. I knew I was better at it than some people, but I thought that if I met the real experts I'd be out of my depth. Then one day, out of the blue, I thought "I'm good enough at this." And since then I've felt like it's ok for me to do it. I'm not an impostor.
