Quest 1. Thursday, October 16, 2025 — ?
Today I downloaded 126 papers from the Internet Archive. All of them are concerned with game theory and related topics. The oldest one is from October 1964, the newest one released on September 7, 2024. My first step is to peruse all of the abstracts, and scan the papers themselves to see if any of them are beyond my current understanding of theory.
The goal is to integrate my experiences with chaos magic and divination in a game theory context – especially since there seems to a concept called Quantum Game Theory, which intrigues me because I've already seen Ifá and Yijing practitioners on YouTube talk about the connections or commonalities between spirit work/oracle usage and quantum physics. And I swear one time during my chaos magic researches I encountered an article entitled "Quantum Magick", and I haven't been able to find it again... a worthy incentive!
QUEST 1 OBJECTIVE: Invent the study field of quantum game magic.
Side-Quest 1. Monday, November 10, 2025 – ?
Aight here's the deal. Game DESIGN vs Game THEORY. Where's the intersections? Where's the differences? How does this distinction influence my Game MAGIC practice? Many sub-questions to answer. At first I was tempted to package this as a video format for The Tube, but I feel like doing something else there. Applied Game Magic/ARG stuff. Let's see how far we get, I've already ordered a greenscreen and it's big enough for a couple first test runs. Exciting!
...Mmh I think I need to formulate some sort of concrete quest objective/s. Maybe even in the form of a statement that's worthy enough of being turned into a magical sigil design. Active verbs, present tense. A challenging belief to explore and clarify...
SIDE-QUEST 1 OBJECTIVE: Systematize game studies as a trinity split between Theory, Design, and Magic.
Guess I need to work on my wording before attempting to overcome this challenge...
