I decided to attempt to use sixel images in a gemini site, needless to say, it doesn't necessarily work. My preferred client (asuka) simply renders them as plain text, however it is up to the particular client on how to render escape sequences. That's probably a good thing, otherwise we could have gemini pages that make sounds through them :p

Sixel is a pretty cool image format btw. Unfortunately only a few terminals support it, notably xterm and mlterm. alacritty is due to get support soon™ though. I found out about this format because mpv added support for video output in sixel a few days ago, and I noticed libsixel in my update logs.
