Scene, main
- Southern Borderlands, Ianarius the 30th
- A cool overcast, morning
Something quite weird happened. I thought I was dreaming. I woke up and the Book of books was opened and I went to it, and I read it. Which was funny because I can't read. But it was opened on the chapter of the First Fourteen, when St Konan(1) chose the first paladins. But this time my name, Kj(2), was added to them.
1. N.B. There's a real St. Conan, with a church in Lochawe in the Highlands, like where else?
2. It was about time to name our PC. Kj should be pronounced like Kee in English, or Ki in Spanish or Finnish
Then I thought I had awaken up, because I couldn't find my name again but...
The thing is that I can't read
Couldn't, but I can now!
So I began to quake so strongly the poor mule thought there were enemies around and ran away...
Q. Does the mule return? Likely 4- on 1d6. Got a 2
...but came back later. I've spent much time in prayer, which is tough, because I only know two. Master didn't like us waste time on that. And... I don't know, I need to find a house of paladins and beg my entry there. If God's calling me, they'll see it right!
Northwards I go!
