A webcam, rendered in UTF-8 Unicode and updated every ten minutes. In the old days it might have been called 'ASCII Art' but you know times have moved on and we have so many more characters to work with in the modern times.

Caveats: it's early days so your browser and/or terminal may not display things as intended. A fixed-width font is needed so that the character pixels line up

correctly. If you can make out the image at the bottom of this page then you are good to go...

ANSI Colour Rendered

Hopefully there will be better support for glorious 24-bit colour in the future. For now, these are rendered with ANSI colours (._. ) and if you don't see coloured text heading above instead of a mess of numbers then your browser knows what to do.

Well, it might be that I broke something. It may also be night-time, which is often the case. Alternatively, check that you can pass the two tests below.

Test: Fixed-width Font

These text-based images need a fixed-width font to be legible.

If your Gemini browser can use a fixed-width font then you should see an image of a skull below. The border should should be squarely aligned and unbroken, provided your display/window is at least 80 characters wide.
