The app has been built with the minimum API level 19, which means Android 4.4 KitKat. I have not tested if it actually works correctly on such an old OS, though.

@skyjake I have one of those still lying around. I could test that for you
@Bobsey I guess it would be interesting to know if it runs. Might be a tad sluggish, though.
@skyjake It shows a black screen for a sec and then I'm back on the home screen :(
I installed it on the sdcard as there wasn't enough internal space - that could also be the issue, aside from KitKat. Is Lagrange saving a log somewhere or is there some other way to rule that out?
That's a bummer. Log messages are just written to the system log so you'd need logcat via adb to view them, in real time.
Maybe I'll test this in a KitKat emulator. (Presumably that's still available.)
Turns out, a KitKat emulator is available but I can't run it on my MacBook. Will have to try again later on a Windows PC.
Works on android 6 here, firefox dropped support for it recently, so this phone is now dedicated to gemini thanks to lagrange! Brand new phone btw, just comes with old os for some reason.
