The last of day 2024!

The middle of the 20s is already nigh, incredibly. Any plans to celebrate New Year's Eve?

I awoke 04:00 in the morning today and couldn't fall asleep again. Luckily nothing is planned for tonight. I think I'll be too tired to stay up until 00:00 tonight, but I'll surely awake from the firecrackers :(

@fab That sounds less than ideal! I was also woken up at 04:00 by my 2yo son, who came over and insisted on using my pillow as his mattress so I didn't actually get much sleep after that. 🙂

I'm resorting to the rare evening coffee to make it to midnight.

What I find truly mind-blowing is that the first quarter of the 21st century is about to be gone already. We're living in the freaking future! This can't be right :D

As for new year's plans, not much. Dinner with family, mostly

@skyjake Well with little children you have to prioritize :D

In Europe you had the New Year's classical concert and the ski jumps. I played asciijump as a local tradition.
