Guys, I wonder why I can't find the email in DeltaChat contacts after removing just the email history from its left bar. How is this possible?! Does this client remove contacts when I remove the emails, or could it be something else?

Before, I banned another contact and then spent a while searching for how to unban it. What the curse!

I never heard of Chatmail until your post, so you've sent me way down the rabbit hole! I'm recently very upset with Telegram as my main family messenger and that looks like a possible alternative. Can you share about your experience please?

I'm not using Telegram or even a telephone, which this 'confidential' messenger requires for registration.
