it is interesting if they will reply in the mailing list.

they are very active on IRC, i always see them there and read every day what they discuss and what they work on.

so if you connect to irc.libera.chat 's #maemo-leste room, you may get much faster responces.

on the other hand, let's hope the usage of the mailing list can make it actually useful.

by the way, on creating accounts - i understand.

afaik on irc you don't need to create an account.

if you just point your browser to

then there in the right upper corner of the browser you can click 'connect' and choose 'webchat'.

it should ask you for a nickname (it is not registering), by default it'll be something like Guest70 - you can leave it like that.

and there is a field to enter a channel name to connect to.

enter #maemo-leste

i think that's it.

I have already got past that bug. See the mailing list for next bug on missing or uninstallable packages.
