I started on tilde.club before self hosting. they have gemini, gopher, web, emal, a BBS, and access to the shared tilde services like chat and git. i didn't try cgi access there so I can't speak to that.

For static files hosting with DNS,

I'm using cities.yesterweb.org, unfortunately it's without FTP support, but with WebDAV

"Hosting" recommendation — I've been around Gemini for around a month or two maybe, and I'm still 'homeless'.
