My telechron electric clock that has been in the family for 80 years has stopped telling time. I am sad.

Indeed. Is there a way to repair it? Some of the older (80+ years old counts) devices were made to be repaired, not replaced. I have a relative in the generation above mine who manages to find ways to fix the weirdest stuff, so that it lasts. My hope: you can get that thing running again, and tell us what time it is!

It is repairable but there will be some skill involved. This will be a project and hopefully I won't destroy it.
