Hello, world.

I'm going to be trying to come out of my shell a little bit. I've kind of kept myself to myself recently... but Gemini still seems small and intimate enough that it doesn't exactly feel like I'm broadcasting to the world, you know?

It's a falsehood, because I *am* broadcasting to the world by posting this, and it's completely public. So maybe what I'm feeling is just a false sense of security. But on the other hand, maybe that's just what I need...

I don't feel comfortable enough yet to put this post into the All Posts list. I feel like that would just be forcing myself onto other people's pages, and this is more like a phlog entry than anything else. But I might update this every now and again, maybe share some interesting stuff when I come across it.

For now, for anybody who actually reads this... thank you. I'd love to get to know people, so please feel free to leave a comment, if you like.
