I am in the same boat as @daruma. I feel free to say what I think and share personal information about myself here. I don’t really post anywhere on http(s) though.

Obviously, I wouldn’t go as far to dox myself like @softwarepagan advises against. But if I was having a dispute with someone and wanted an outside opinion or even some place to just vent I think here might be a good place to do so.

I was asking because I share my schizophrenia experience with the world on Lemmy. I don't share any personal info there *just* my experience. how safe or unsafe it could be?

@random2934 People have been identified from writing styles and hobby horse issues across platforms and had physical location doxxed from the weave of carpet and positioning of air vents in a room cross referenced against homes previously on Zillow.

That was before AI.

If you want to share anything, I think it is best if 70% of what you are saying is lies and made up random crap to confuse any attempts.

You never know what you say today that will make you a target tomorrow.

what do you guys think of sharing you experience to the Internet? Is it risky? not good?
