About the gemlog.blue shutting down process.
Hey everyone!
I downloaded all the gemlogs from gemlog.blue and filtered out a bunch of spam (well, most of it). I'm thinking about uploading that archived version to a site on subnet.city to keep the gemlogs safe (and also to archive.org), but I’d like to check with the developers of gemlog.blue first. Problem is, I have no clue how to get in touch with them.
Can anyone help me out?

I was originally going to make my capsule on there, but I have Gmcapsule though.
I don't think the owner of gemlog.blue has ever had public contact info.
I haven't seen an announcement anywhere about gemlog.blue shutting down. When is it supposed to happen?

In the "Create account" page:
Due to continued spam, gemlog.blue is no longer open to new accounts.
In the "Add Post" page:
This website, and the associated gemini output, is in the process of shutting down service. We are sad to see it go. It was a fun experiment and we were happy to be able to connect people to gemini. However, it is full of spam and bot accounts. We have creaated a way to download all of your post data using our export form. The gemini server will be shut down in the coming days, but the web frontend will stay up until the domain name expires (June 25, 2026). As such, you will have just under a year from this notice to download your data.
That's honestly such a shame Gemlog.blue is shutting down, I thought the site would have some anti-spam thing.

Some about sort methods
- Original filtered (the original users file but filtered without spam)
- Alphabetically [0-9, A-G, H-M, N-S, T-Z]
- By number of entries [>20, 11-19, 05-10, 01-04]
- by age [the three oldest and the three newest]
