very useful. no need to keep in foreground. doesn't send recordings but only fingerprints. possible to stop recognition and start manually. possible to recognize what is played via the device soundcard.

Thanks, I hadn't heard of this one. In the past I would have used this all the time! These days I tend to put on lofi or ambient streams and I don't pay much attention to individual songs... shifting priorities.
