I have a question regarding the way Farkle does its scoring.
As you know, 111 and 1111 each equal the same score - 1000 points. However, scoring it as three 1s + an extra 1 would actually yield a higher score (1000 + 100). Is there a particular reason this isn't scored as such when entered?

It's a form of psychological warfare, its purpose is to bait you into rolling the second time after getting 1111 on the first roll. Jokes aside, my guess would be that the game checks for the quad combination first, and picks it immediately without considering the other case. Am I correct? Would be kinda interesting to know.
@undefined - that is exactly it
