Lagrange: the text editor

OK hear me out: I'm on a low end quad core 1.3ghz Android 6 device with measly 1gb of ram and all I wanted was to edit a big`ol half a meg plain text public domain book and i freakin couldn't! Every text editor is either too weird to even open the file (vim, emacs) or too weak and chokes while opening or selecting text. Lagrange on the other hand let me open it with just a split second hiccup and search and select and copy without issues. Lagrange's text selection btw works way better than native for me here. "edit page with Titan" didn't work, but I also realized that I don't want that, all I need is Lagrange's text selection, with additional options to cut, paste, save, save-as and occasionally insert at the cursor that will open a modal with keyboard, instead of having the keyboard always taking up space at the ready to accidentally mess something up. When Lagrange migrates to native GUI ima fork the last good version and add these things, i'm warning ya!

tbf, it's quite surprising vim had problems... I routinely opened *really* huge files and never had issues (although not on a low-end device, or at least it was a long time ago).

if you know you won't need that functionality you might want to try disabling vim swap files (.swp)

vim or emacs didn't choke, they just can't touchscreen or file pick in general. So question is which app and how do i open a file in it? plz no typing weird android storage path with soft keyboard ToT
