Recommendation: Dead on Mars

Hi, wanted to share a web novel I read a long time ago, and really enjoyed.

Dead on Mars, by Skyray Descriptor. It's relatively small, at only 251 chapters.

(One can easily find the book by doing a search on their favourite search engine)

Synopsis:

Payload specialist, Tang Yue, who is a mechanical and electrical engineer by training, is left stranded on Mars when he receives news from his AI robot assistant, Old Cat, that Earth has exploded. He believes himself to be the last human in the Universe.

Turns out, he is only the last man in the Universe. Botanist, Mai Dong, had been left on the United Space Station (USS) orbiting Mars, to await Tang Yue’s ascent to the USS before they make their journey back to Earth. But now, it’s impossible.

Join the trio’s quest for survival as they attempt to unravel the mystery of Earth’s disappearance.

I've never come across a webnovel before. I would like to read it but unfortunately it seems that you _have_ to read it on line and agree to have webnovel.com and its 15 partners (the link to the lst did not work) to have access, with or without your consent to track you:

With your agreement, we and our 15 partners use cookies or similar technologies to store, access, and process personal data like your visit on this website, IP addresses and cookie identifiers. Some partners do not ask for your consent to process your data and rely on their legitimate business interest. You can withdraw your consent or object to data processing based on legitimate interest at any time by clicking on “Learn More” or in our Privacy Policy on this website.
We and our partners process data for the following purposesPersonalised advertising and content, advertising and content measurement, audience research and services development, Precise geolocation data, and identification through device scanning, Store and/or access information on a device

Maybe someone is going to be upset and yell at me, but this engagement-seeking in order to track you can only be described (very nicely, btw) as a 'capitalist tool', much like the video and audio services that force you into streaming to do the above.

If I could download it I would read it, but I could not find a way to do so. I'd gladly outright pay for this luxury instead of becoming product for corporations.
