In the "theme" option, in addition to dark, black, light and white, there could be a "system" option, which could switch between light and dark mode, according to the system settings...

This is already implemented on macOS and iOS.

Which operating system and/or desktop environment are you requesting this for? Implementing it everywhere at once is quite a bit of work...

I was more thinking about on android system, because for example on my phone there is an automatic switch of the dark mode according to the time of the day...
