This is not a toot.

Playing with a fediverse server with a gemini front end called tootik. I don't really know why, I've never had a hankering to take part in social media but the novelty of the gemini experience sounded like fun. The cost of running the service is very low so even low utility would likely make it worth while.

Had low expectations for my use of this, not because the implementation had faults, just because "toot'ing" or any other form of short expulsion isn't really for me. So I have since spun down this instance and going back to writing content for this site, email, and the odd foray into irc.
